Film Hong Kong hasil besutan sutradara Jimmy Heung dan Wong Jing pada tahun 1989 yang bertajuk Casino Raiders ini merupakan salah satu film pelopor genre judi. Kesuksesan film yang dibintangi Alan Tam dan Andy Lau inilah membuat industri film Hong Kong beramai membuat fllm genre judi selama beberapa tahun berikutnya.
Kisahnya dimulai ketika Sam Law (Alan Tam) dan Crab Chan (Andy Lau), sepasang sahabat berprofesi penipu yang bereuni setelah Crab bebas dari penjara. Mereka pergi ke Amerika karena merasa negeri tersebut itu adalah masa depan mereka. Di sana, Sam menolong seorang pemilik kasino untuk menangkap basah sekelompok penjudi Jepang yang curang dalam berjudi.
Dalam prosesnya, Sam jatuh cinta kepada seorang gadis kaya raya bernama Koyan (Idy Chan). Di sisi lain, kelompok penjudi Jepang yang curang itu mendendam kepada Sam sehingga berusaha membunuhnya. Beruntung nyawa Sam berhasil diselamatkan Crab namun tangan Crab terluka parah sehingga Crab tidak bisa menggunakannya untuk trik tipuannya.
Ayah Koyan bersedia membantu Sam dengan syarat pria itu agar berhenti menjadi penipu. Sam pun menerima persyaratan namun meninggalkan Crab sendirian yang kebingungan menghadapi serangan selanjutnya kelompok penjudi Jepang itu. Situasi makin kacau karena kelompok penjudi tersebut menculik Koyan.
